Und wieder neigt sich ein Discdogjahr dem Ende zu.... und wie schon die letzten Jahre haben wir es beim NIKOMEETING in DOGSTOWN in gemütlicher Runde ausklingen lassen. Engel, Schneeflocken und Nikoläuse waren dabei und haben die Halle mit Freude und Spaß gefüllt! Und weil unsere Uli als Pfarrerin einen besonderen Draht zu dem " da oben " hat , hatten alle die wollten die Möglichkeit ihre Viebeinigen Lieblinge und auch sich selbst segnen zu lassen. Also wenn ihr nächstes Jahr Hunde und Menschen mit einem gewissen Leuchten auf dem Spilefeld seht.... dann sind es die Nikomeetingteilnehmer ;) Danke an Conny die uns wieder Dogstown zur Verfügung gestellt hat, danke an mein Team für die tolle Unterstützung und danke allen für einen schönen Tag. In diesem Sinne: besinnliche Feiertage und einen guten Rutsch ins neue Discdogjahr 2010!

And again a year of discdogging is coming to an end.... and like the last years we let it cozy fade away at the SANTA CLAUSE MEETING in DOGSTOWN. Angels, snowflakes and Santas were there and filled the hall with joy and fun! And cause our Uli has, as parson, a special repport to the " one up there ", everyone who want had the possibility to let consecrate it´s fourlegged darling and his self. So if you see dogs and humans with a certain glance on the playground.... then it´s one of the Santa Clause meeting participant ;) Thanks Conny for let us use Dogstown again, thanks to my team for the great support and thanks to all for a wonderful day. In this sense: happy holidays and a happy new year to the new discdog year 2010!

Auch dieses Jahr hatten wir das Glück uns für die WM der UFO zu qualifizieren und auch teilnehmen zu können! Am ersten November Wochenende rockten wir bei schönsten Texas Wetter, das Spielfeld in Houston. Schon am Tag davor hatten wir am letzten Major Event das Jahres teilgenommen und Lara hat gezeigt, dass sie noch lange nicht zum alten Eisen gehört! Nach dem es am Tag davor einen kleinen Hurricane gab stand das Spielfeld noch ordentlich unter Wasser, aber auch das hat uns nicht aufgehalten. Wir genossen die "kleine" Abkühlung.... Lara mehr als ich.... sie hatte auch nicht die schlammigen Klamotten ;) Aber wofür gibt es denn auch Waschmaschinen :)

Die darauf folgenten 2 Tage der World Finals waren sehr spannend und es war wieder einmal toll soviele tolle Teams spielen zusehen.Dieses Jahr waren auch unsere Freunde aus den Niederlande dabei. Gemeinsam haben wir unseren geliebten Sport sehr erfolgreich vertreten! Auch wenn das Starterfeld bei weitem nicht so groß war wie bei den Finals der anderen Organisationen... es waren bis auf wenige, die besten Teams vertreten. Um so mehr dürfen wir stolz sein Europa so gut vertreten zu haben :) Besonders im Freestyle!.... beim Toss & Catch müssen wir noch einiges tun ;)

Nicht vergessen zu erwähnen möchte ich die super Gastfreundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber! Wir wurden mit Pavillion und Stühlen versorgt und auch ansonsten hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gab 2 sehr schöne Parties, bei denen wir bestens mit texanischen Spezialitäten verköstigt wurden. Und zur Halloweenparty gab es sogar UFO Bier!

Vielen Dank noch einmal an die Organisatoren und deren Helferlein für ein gelungenes Wochende! Wir werden gerne wieder nach Houston kommen :)

This year we were fortuned to be qualified and able to compete at the UFO World Finals again! At the first weekend of November we rocked the field in Houston under beautiful sunny Texas weather. Even one day ago we competed at the last Major event of the year and Lara showed that she is far away from beeing on the scarp heap! After there was a hurricane the day before the field was still flooded, but even that could not stop us. We enjoyed the " little" cool down... Lara more than me... she did not had the muddy clothes ;) But wherefore are laundry maschines existing :)

The following 2 days of the World Finals have been very thrilling and again it was great to see so many awesome teams on the field! This year our friends from the Netherlands competed, too. Together we represented our beloved sport very successful! Even if the field of competeters was not that huge than at the finals from other organisations...most of the best teams competed. So much the more we can be proud to represent Europe that successful! Especially at Freestyle!... at Toss & Catch we still have to practise ;)

I won´t forget to mention the hosts super hospitality and helpfulness! They gave us pavillion shelter and chairs and also for the rest there was nothing we missed. There were 2 wunderful parties where we were provided with Texas specialities. And for the Halloween party they even had UFO beer!

Thank you very much again to the organising team and their helping hands for a successful weekend! We would like to come to Houston again :)

UFO Local Gelsenkirchen..... die spontane Entscheidung dabei zu sein war eine Gute! Es war ein schöner, wenn auch langer Tag und ich bin abend wieder als stolze Hundemama gen Heimat gezogen :) Trotz des großen Starterfelds hat die Orga super geklappt und die Regenattacken haben der Stimmung auch keinen Abbruch getan!

UFO Local Gelsenkirchen... the spontanious decision to take part was a good one! It was a long but wonderful day and at the evening I headed home as proud doggy mom :) In spite of the huge starting field the organisation worked out perfect and the attacks of rain did not harm the atmosphere!

Fundogteam goes international! 2 Tage lang waren Freunde aus Italien für einen Workshop bei mir hier in Karlsruhe zu Besuch! Es waren 2 wirklich tolle Tage und es hat ne Menge Spaß gemacht! Hoffe die Beiden bald wieder zu sehen und dass sie weiter mit so viel Spaß und Enthusiasmus dabei sind! Und es ist mir eine Ehre, dass das Fundogteam nun italienische Teams dabei hat!

Fundogteam goes international! For 2 days friends from Italy stopped by in my hometown Karlsruhe for clinic with me! We had 2 really great days and it was a lot of fun! I hope to see both again soon and that they keep up with so much fun and enthusiasm! And it is a honor for me that the Fundogteam now has Italian teams!

Champs for kids beim ATC Köln....ein feine Sache! Dieses Jahr hatte ich die Ehre die HundefrisbeeChamps von morgen zu trainieren. Es war eine kleine aber feine Truppe und alle waren mit Eifer dabei! Es ist faszinierend zu sehen wieviel Energie die Kids den ganzen Tag haben und mit welcher Selbstverständlichkeit sie mit ihren Hunden umgehen! Ein tolles Wochenende für mich,dass ich gerne jederzeit wiederhole!

Champs for kids at ATC Kolone.... a nice idea! This year I had the honor to train the dogfrisbee champs of tomorrow. It was a small but nice groupe and all the kids had a blast! It´s faszinating how much power the kids have all over a day and how they handle their dog with such a naturalness! For me it was a awesome weekend and I would repeat it everytime again!

UFO Local Diekholzen....immer eine Reise wert! Auch dieses Jahr hat es uns nach Diekholzen gezogen und wie schon das letzte Mal hatten wir ein sehr schönes Wochenende. Den ganzen Tag wurde auf und neben den Spielfeld gerockt und es es ist immerwieder schön zusehen wieviel Spaß alle Teams miteinander haben!

UFO Local Diekholzen.... always worth a journey! This year it tow us again to Diekholzen and like last time we had a wonderful weekend. The whole day was action on and next to the playground and it is always great to see how much fun all the teams have together!

Zurück von unseren ersten Turnier dieses Jahr, dem UFO Major in Holland. Es war ein schönes ( für uns ein erfolgreiches ) WE, die Location war für meinen Geschmack besser als das letzte Jahr und auch das Wetter hat brav mitgemacht. Es war schön, nach langer Winterpause für mich, alte und neue Bekannte zu sehen. Nur wer auf ein Video wartet, wartet dieses Mal ( und evt. auch noch weitere Male ) umsonst. Nach vielen Jahren des Filmens hab ich mir das WE mal ohne Cam vor der Nase gegönnt :) Unser nächster Stop wird in 14 Tagen beim UFO Local in Hildesheim sein.

Back from our first competiton of the year, the UFO Major in the Netherlands. It was a nice ( for us successful ) weekend, the location was better than last year for me and even the weather was good. After a long winter break for me, it was great to meet old and new friends. But for all who are waiting for a video, you wait for nothing this time ( and evt. some more times ). After a lot of years of taping I treated my self a weekend without a cam infront of my nose :) Our next stop will be the UFO local in Hildesheim in two weeks.

Kurze Notiz zum FDDO Turnier: Das Turnier wird nicht stattfinden! Ich mußte es leider wegen zugeringer Teilnehmerzahl stornieren.

Just a short note about the FDDO GermanChampionchips:The event will not happen!!! I´m sorry but I had to cancel it because of the less number of competitors.

Nun ist das neue Jahr schon 2 Monate alt und endlich zeigen sich die ersten Sonnenstrahlen,die auch wärmen!! Und bald geht die Saison richtig los!

Mit dem heutigen Tag ( 1.3.09 ) geht meine Homepage mit neuem Banner und auch englisch online. Also wundert euch nicht,wenn ihr die News nu zweisprachig lesen könnt ;) Die Rechtschreibefehler bleiben euch aber erhalten...deutsch wie englisch ;) Wer nach großen Änderungen sucht,der sucht vergeblich.Das ist alles,frei nach dem Motto : Never change a running systhem ;)

Now the new year is already 2 month old and finally the first warming rays of sunshine show off!! And soon the season real starts!

Within this day ( March 1rst 2009 ) my homepage goes online with a new banner and ( as you can read ;)) in english. Don´t be confused to read the news bilingual ( not everyone in Germany is familiar with English ;) Spelling errors will linger ( German and English ones ) and I hope I don´t make to much phrase mistakes :)

Auch dieses Jahr findet ihr hier wieder sämtliche Turniertermine.Soweit bekannt habe ich den Kalender auch bereits aktualisiert.Wenn doch ein Termin fehlt,laßt es mich wissen!!
